For years I'd hit the elliptical and lift weights a few times a week. I hated cardio, especially running and was also pretty bad at it. Regardless of what I would do, I never saw any forward movement. I'd never really gain any noticeable muscle or lose any fat, and my cardio endurance was basically non existent. I was also pretty unmotivated because of it all. Daron at Rush Functional Fitness changed all that.
Since starting with Rush 3 years ago, my muscle growth has increased exponentially and my physical and cardio endurance has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought that I'd be in my 40's running obstacle course races, let alone running at all. Now I'm running up mountains, conquering all the obstacles that OCRs throw at me and I'm even keeping the weight off for the first time in my life.
The way Daron structures my workout plans helps me keep on track and motivated. I'm actually excited to train and even crazier, I now look forward to OCR training season.
